New mobile device client provides a seamless experience for app and data access as well as help desk support:
- Citrix Worx Home is an app that allows IT to enforce mobile settings and security on mobile devices. Employees use this app to access their unified corporate app store and live support services. XenMobile communicates with Worx Home to deliver MDM and Worx-enabled apps and policies. XenMobile also stocks the unified corporate app store with apps most relevant to the user.
- Worx Home and XenMobile leverage ShareFile as the common data platform across all Worx-enabled mobile apps. This allows apps that access ShareFile data to intelligently interoperate and share data with each other.
Simplified IT
New application ecosystem, cloud email support and NetScaler integration allows IT to bring mobile solutions to more of their users:
- Citrix introduced the Citrix Ready Worx Verified program to make it simple for ISVs, System Integrators and enterprise developers to extend enterprise-grade management and security in any existing mobile application. As a result, customers can maximize their time to value by browsing and selecting Worx-enabled apps in the Worx App Gallery – which is coming soon – and deploying them to users instantly, yet securely.
- Customers needing support for cloud based email systems can now use their native email clients with Microsoft Office 365, with improved security for control of out-of-compliance devices.
- For high scalability requirements, XenMobile has been integrated with NetScaler and ActiveSync filtering is now supported.
