With desktop virtualization powered by Citrix XenDesktop, processing power, operating systems, applications and user settings are centralized in the datacenter and decoupled from the operating system. Regardless of whether users log in locally via the LAN or remotely via a secure VPN over the WAN or the public Internet, personalized virtual desktop instances (pre-configured with applications, data and settings) are instantly delivered to users on demand, wherever they are.

Citrix XenDesktop also connects users’ devices to their virtual desktops. Thus, their desktop session ‘follows’ them (regardless of the end point device) via ‘smooth roaming’ technology, which lets users access their personalized Windows virtual desktop and applications anywhere.

CSC Dynamic Desktop Citrix Series utilizes self-contained hosted virtual desktop modules.
