Access Gateway 2010 Appliance Imaging Tool

The Appliance Imaging Tool is used to reimage an Access Gateway Model 2010 appliance back to a factory state.  User must supply a 1 GB or greater USB flash storage device and have access to the appliance software image.

On the Access Gateway Model 2010 Appliance, the Access Gateway software is installed using a USB storage device instead of a bootable CD-ROM. The software is downloaded to a Microsoft Windows based computer and then copied to the storage device. The administrator of the appliance would then plug the storage device into the Access Gateway and reinstall the software.  For a detailed description please review the Citrix Access Gateway Standard Edition Administrator’s Guide, under “Reinstalling the Access Gateway Software.”

Caution: When the Access Gateway software is copied to the USB storage device, any data on the device is erased. Make sure you are using a USB storage device that does not contain critical information.

When the imaged USB storage device is attached to the appliance and the appliance reboots, any saved data or configurations will be lost.  Please back up your configurations before reimaging.
